Get Connected Right from the Start!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our interactive orientation program helps you complete the necessary steps to become a successful OCC student!  Our program is an excellent opportunity to explore valuable resources, meet other OCC students, and connect with faculty and staff. You\u2019ll learn vital information to help you prepare for your first semester!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:  Register for our In-Person New Student Orientation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

New Student Orientation is an excellent opportunity to make connections on campus before the semester begins.\u00a0 During orientation, students will have the opportunity to connect with other new students, learn about course expectations, and explore campus resources before the semester begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2: Complete your online Campus Compass course<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This online course provides you with resources and information about the college, student support services, policies and procedures, and how to register for classes.  We designed our online Compass to give you a positive start to your first semester.  The Campus Compass takes approximately 30-45 minutes to finish<\/strong> and consists of several modules with a short quiz at the end of each.  The Compass uses smart technology, so you do not have to complete it all at once.  You can work on it when it\u2019s convenient for you by stopping and saving your work along the way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
